1.Dust on doors and windows should be cleaned regularly to keep doors and windows, glass and hardware clean and bright.

2.If doors and windows are contaminated with oil stains and other things that are difficult to clean, they can be scrubbed with detergent, but it is best not to use strong acid or strong alkali solutions for cleaning, which will not only easily damage the surface finish of the profile, but also destroy the protective film and oxide layer on the surface of the hardware and cause rust on the hardware.

3.Granular and other debris on the inside of the frame should be cleaned in time to prevent them from blocking the drainage channel and causing poor drainage and water leakage.

4.When opening doors and windows, the force should be moderate, and the speed of opening and closing should be kept uniform as much as possible.

5.Try to avoid hitting doors and windows with hard objects or scratching the surface of profiles.

When the door and window installers complete the installation of doors and windows, due to carelessness, the filling foaming agent is often uneven in thickness or sticks to the plastic steel doors and windows. Sometimes, stubborn stains also exist. At this time, we can:

1.Use a spatula to flatten the convex parts of the filling and polish them with sandpaper.

2. If there is paint decoration, the flattened parts can be treated with paint of the same color.

3. Scrub the surface of the profile with water to remove general dust.

4. Use white cotton yarn dipped in ethyl acetate to scrub stubborn stains, and then scrub with water.

One of the advantages of plastic steel doors and windows is that they basically do not need maintenance, but considering that many plastic steel door and window profiles are improperly selected or have poor processing quality, it is recommended that users should inspect and maintain them once every six months to one year. Generally check the following five aspects:

1. Whether there are cracks in the profile welds of the door and window frames and sashes.

2. Whether the door and window sashes have obvious deformation, warping, and sagging of the casement sashes.

3. Check whether the sealing strips and leather strips are shrinking, deforming, or have gaps.

4. Check if the hardware accessories are broken, damaged, or tight.

5. Check if the drainage holes are unobstructed.
