We all know that windows provide light, fresh air, warmth, and ventilation, but did you know that windows can affect the energy efficiency of your home, leading to higher electricity bills?
It is important to understand that only by providing energy-saving solutions for your home can your electricity bills be reduced.
Before we get into how to lower your electricity bill, let’s first understand the reasons why windows and doors cause energy loss.
According to Energy Star, 25% to 50% of energy loss is attributed to the following three main reasons:
(1) Air leakage – When hot air enters the home through the gaps between the door and window frames, it causes energy loss.
(2) Conduction – Heat is transferred from the outside of the home to the inside through the frames, which is another cause of energy loss.
(3) Radiation – Infrared heat energy is transmitted through the glass. Radiation can overheat the space, increasing air conditioning costs in the summer, which in turn increases your electricity bills.
LUYANG has become a consumer’s preferred brand due to its three energy-saving features:
(A) Material – Made of UPVC. This material inherits the property of virtually no thermal expansion/contraction and has extremely low thermal conductivity, which improves product performance and energy efficiency. Due to its low thermal conductivity, it neither retains nor transfers heat indoors, keeping homes cooler and saving energy.
(B) Airtight Sealing – Utilizing fusion-welded joints, multi-cavity profiles, multi-point locking, and silicone sealant, it effectively prevents air leaks. This airtight seal prevents cold air from escaping and inhibits the entry of hot air from outside, keeping homes cooler.
(C) Double-Pane Insulation – To prevent radiant heat, choose double or triple-pane insulated glass, saving electricity and energy indoors.
While these properties can improve the energy efficiency of windows, it’s important to understand how these profiles enhance product performance:
(A) UPVC – Made with a special weather-resistant compound and additives, it ensures windows and doors retain their shape, color, and gloss regardless of temperature fluctuations. Its low thermal conductivity contributes to its exceptional energy efficiency.
(B) Fusion-welded joints – Enhance thermal insulation and ensure leak-proof doors and windows.
(C) Multi-point locking system – Improves sealing and enhances sound and thermal insulation.
(D) Steel – Galvanized steel fittings for doors and windows ensure durability and the necessary strength to prevent frame warping and sagging.
